Kunis Piano Moving was started in 1957 when founder Ernest Kunis first started delivering pianos and organs. He continued to do this as a side job for 19 years while he worked full time at another job. In 1976 he felt that it was time to take it to the next  level, quit his other job, and started moving pianos full time. Up to that point he often relied on help from friends and family to do the moves, but in 1983 his son, Dave Kunis, decided to work with him full time. Ernie and Dave worked together for 10 years until, in 1993 Ernie, decided it was time to phase out his involvement in the company.

Ernie’s nephew, Ed Pruim, came to the company in 1994, and Dave and Ed have been partners since.

Kunis Piano Moving has been providing local and long distance commercial and residential moving services regularly in the NJ, NY, PA CT, MA, DE, MD, DC areas and  occasionally in the VA, NC, SC, NH, VT and ME areas.
